Wrestling Star Jon Huber, known in sport’s circles as Luke Harper has passed on Saturday, 26th December 2020.
His wife, Amanda confirmed the sad news in the lengthy emotional post via her Instagram account, throwing light on the circumstances surrounding the passing of Luke Harper.
According to her, the WWE star who first began his wrestling career under the name Brodie Lee passed on from lung issue unrelated to COVID-19.
After what has been a long career from local wrestling circuits to the WWE in 2012, Luke Harper shot to fame after joining Wyatt Family where he won NXT Tag Team Championship and the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship before going on to win the Intercontinental Championship title in 2014.
Last year he requested a trade from WWE to join the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) where he won the AEW TNT Championship.
Jon Huber remained one of the sports most promoted acts until his demise on Saturday. He passed on at age 41.
