Reconstruction works on the Tarkwa NA Aboso park have resumed as Ghanaian Mining giants, Goldfields engaged the various stakeholders at the facility.

Works on the facility which is in line to be Ghana’s first-ever roofed stadium was suspended due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With restriction currently eased across the country, the reconstruction has resumed as project manager for Goldfields, Roger Adamah guided some stakeholders on a tour of the edifice which will serve a multi-purpose function.
Among some stakeholders present are representatives of Medeama SC led by president Moses Parker, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem George Mireku Duker, and Metropolitan chief executive Benjamin Kessie.

Information available on medeamasc.com indicate that stadium will be a 10,000 seater and cost to an estimated $16million.
The project which includes pitch redesigning, VIP and media stand, drainage, as well as an electronic scoreboard across its perimeter, will be funded by Goldfields Ghana Limited.
