Women’s Premier League septet earn promotions in Police Service

Following a successful examination seven players in Women’s Premier League side, the Police team has earned various promotions in the Ghana Police Service.

Mary Berko has been promoted to Corporal whereas two other defenders Patience Kpodi and Stella Boakye earned promotions to Sergeant.

Ghana Police team midfielder, Mary Baidoo also had her rank raised to Corporal.

Two Goalkeepers Nana Ama Asantewaa and Fafali Dumehasi were promoted to sergeant and corporal whereas forward Josephine Boateng also moved rank to Corporal.

The promotions should come as a huge boost for the players ahead of the start of the Women’s Premier League.

Nana Ama Asantewaa, Fafali Dumehasi, and Mary Berko are key figures of the senior National Women’s team, the Black Queens.
