William Opoku Asiedu: Former Middlesbrough Midfielder agrees Hearts of Oak move

After agreeing on a two-year deal with the defending ghana premier league champions, William Opoku Asiedu will become Hearts of Oak’s tenth signing of the season.

The player has signed the deal and will play for in the ghana top division, according to close sources.

Opoku Asiedu left Okyeman Planners in 2017 to join the U23 side of English club Middlesbrough.

The English side later loaned the attacking to FCI Levadia before terminating his contract after failing to impress at the Riverside club.

William Opoku Asiedu later moved to India, where he played for several clubs, including Minerva Punjab, FC Bengaluru United, and BSS Sporting.

He is expected to join the clubs preseason training ahead of the commencement of the 2021/22 Ghana premier league season later this month.
