Former Ghana International, Joe Addo has urged the technical brains behind the Black Stars to utilize Kojo Asamoah in the national team set-up.
The former Black Stars defender in an interview with Citi TV suggested that the Inter Milan defender should be a regular feature in the national team due to his experience and regular game time in the Italian Serie A and UEFA Champions League.
“He is one of our best players and he is not a bench warmer”
“He is an everyday player both in the league and the Champions League,
“So he is somebody we have to accommodate in our national team because his experience will help these young lads go very far in the national team”, Addo added.
Kojo Asamoah since his return to national duty after a lengthy break has failed to establish his place in the Ghana Setup, earning just one start in Ghana’s outing in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
The 30-year-old was not part of the Black Stars team that defeated South Africa and Sao Tome in the two opening games of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
