Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association, Daniel Agbogah has charged the Municipal and District Football Associations (MDFA) to revive grassroots football in the region.
This was after a meeting with the MDFA chairmen in the newly refurbished Volta FA secretariat in Ho.
The meeting was part of a series of activities by the association to deliberate on issues affecting the promotion and development of the game in the region.
Daniel Agbogah during the meeting reiterated the need for the MDFAs to promote the juvenile game as it remains the future of Volta football.
He further revealed that talks are far advanced to secure office spaces for the various Municipal/ District Football Associations to help improve their performances as well as promote a good image.
“We met with the Regional Minister and have advanced the possibility of securing office space for the various DFAs. We believe when this is successful, working from the comfort of your office will provide you more comfort, good public image and run effectively.”
The meeting was attended by nine (9) MDFA chairmen from across the region.
