Justin Addo has confirmed that English Football Association (FA) referees will handle the match between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on March 7, 2020.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Proball International Limited confirmed this during Wednesday’s Independence Day Cup launch at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat in Accra.

Ghana’s two biggest clubs, Hearts and Kotoko are set to renew their rivalry when they play each other for the first time on foreign soil at the Barnet Stadium in London.

The last time the two teams met was in the ongoing 2019/20 Ghana Premier League where Kotoko emerged 2-1 winners after last-minute controversial penalty decided the tie at the Accra Sports Stadium.
