Ghana midfielder Edmund Addo will feature for Sheriff Tiraspol when they face Spanish giants Real Madrid in the second Group D game on Tuesday evening.
The Ghanaian was part of the Sheriff Tiraspol team that made history after being the first Moldovan club to feature in the UEFA Champions League group stages.
Sheriff Tiraspol has taken a giant step to qualify from the group after beating Shakhter Donetsk 2-0 in the first match to top Group D.
Although they face tough opposition with a proven record in the champions league, the Moldovans are capable of causing trouble for any team.
Edmund Addo lasted 85 minutes for Sheriff before being replaced by Stjepan Radeljic in the game against Shakhter Donetsk.
The midfielder has earned his first Black Stars call-up and is expected to be part of Ghana’s team to play Zimbabwe in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers next month.
