U23 AFCON: Habib Mohammed secures a point for Black Meteors against Cameroon

Spoils were shared at the end of 90 minutes as the Ghana National U23 team, Black Meteors drew 1-1 with their counterparts from Cameroon.

It was the second group A game which saw Ghana come from behind to snatch a point from the jaws of defeat after Cameroon had taken the lead thanks to stunning freekick from Frank Evina in the 59th minute.

Black Meteors had to labor until the 87th minute to score an equalizer after persistent pressure on their opponents.

Habib Mohammed was on hand to poke the ball past Cameroonian goalkeeper after a pass was deflected into his path.

Cameroonian were gifted a golden opportunity to snatch all a win points at the Cairo International Stadium but could only head the ball wide off the target.

The match ended 1-1 with a both teams picking a point.

Meanwhile, Egypt defeated Mali 1-0 in the tournaments opener to top the group with 3points. Cameroon lie second with Ghana in third place, both with a point.
