National U23 football team, the Black Meteors of Ghana will begin the U23 Africa Nations Cup tournament with an opener against Cameroon on Friday, 8th November 2019 at the Cairo International Stadium.
Having been paired together with host Egypt, Cameroon and Mali in Group A, Ghana will attempt to make be among three nations that will earn qualification to represent the continent at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
Ghana will begin the championship with an opener against Cameroon on Friday at 8 pm before facing host, Egypt on Monday.

The Black Meteors will wrap up the group games against Mali on Thursday, 14th November 2019.
The matches against their counterparts from Egypt and Mali are scheduled to kick off at 6 pm but the latter will be played at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.

Led by head coach Ibrahim Tanko, the Black Meteors are already in Egypt as the stepped-up preparations towards the tournament which will last between November 8 and 22nd.
