Two Ghanaian footballers arrested for drug peddling

Ghanaian footballers, Frank Twum Ntini and Richard Dzifa Appiae have been arrested in Bangladesh for possession of illegal drugs in the South Asian country.

The Ghanaian-pair were arrested with Yaba tablets, an illegal substance that contains a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine.

According to various reports, the two Ghanaian footballers were arrested following suspicion by the police which led to questioning and later recovery of the substance in their possession.

The duo during interrogation further revealed that drugs belonged to one Mohammad Masud, which led to his arrest in the Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital.

Frank Twum Ntini and Richard Dzifa Appiae play in different football leagues in Bangladesh.
