Ghana’s Senior national Taekwondo athlete Michael Davidson on Saturday joined the country’s #KickCoronavirusAway campaign.
The 80kg athlete made his debut international appearance as part of a three-man contingent that represented Ghana at the 8th Fujairah Open in the United Arab Emirates.
Michael Davidson adding to a caption ‘ let’s pray for the world against Coronavirus’ stressed on the need for individuals to seek the face of God against the global COVID-19 pandemic.
“We all know it’s difficult times for the country and the world at large. And I believe most of us have faith in God. He’s the creator of Heaven and Earth and knows everything. We only have to be fervent in Prayers to #KickCoronaVirusAway.”
“Apart from the national Prayers that was observed, we must all individually Pray and God will listen to us because we as athletes need to be alive to compete.”
Meanwhile, Ghana as at Saturday, 18th April 2020 has recorded 834 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 99 recoveries.
8 deaths so far have been recorded in the West African country.
