Sad News: Ex-Black Stars and Asante Kotoko player passes on

Former Ghana International Opoku Afriyie has passed on aged 75.

The ex-Asante Kotoko striker nicknamed Beyie ‘Wizard’ is reported to have passed on today Sunday, 29th March 2020.

He featured for Ghana in the 1978 African Cup of Nations where the West African country emerged victors.

He was also part of the team for the 1980 AFCON hosted by Nigeria where Ghana failed to qualify from the group stage.
