Former Ghanaian lightweight champion Richard Commey will fight Vasiliy Lomachenko on December 11 at the Madison Square Gardens, New York.
According to an ESPN report, the bout will take place after the Heisman Trophy presentation.
Vasiliy Lomachenko is also a former division champion who was once regarded as the best pound for pound fighter globally.
However, the Ukrainian has yet to regain that destruction after losing his titles to Teofimo Lopez last October.
Lomachenko returned to the ring in June to defeat Masayoshi Nakatani after recovering from a surgery he had on his torn rotator cuff.
The Ukrainian (15-2) will fight Richard Commey (30-3), who knocked out Jackson Marinez in February 2021.
