Reports: Imminent changes to hit Black Stars as Kwesi Appiah proposes Tanko, Stephen Appiah and Olele sack

According to widespread reports, the technical bench of the Black Stars is set to undergo major changes following a recommendation by head coach, Kwesi Appiah to axe Ibrahim Tanko, Richard Kingston and Stephen Appiah from his team.

This is attributed to a report submitted by the Stars’ head coach to the Ghana Football Association in the aftermath of the team’s shambolic showing in the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ibrahim Tanko is the deputy head coach of the Black Stars whiles Richard Kingston and Stephen Appiah occupy the goalkeeper’s trainer and team coordinator role respectively.

Reasons for the proposed changes remains unknown but this won’t be the first since Maxwell Konado was relieved his deputy Stars’ post after the 2017 AFCON.
