The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association on Monday fined and docked Medeama points for fielding an unqualified player in their matchday 12 game against Great Olympics.
The decision follows a protest lodged by Olympics after the Yellow and Mauve side fielded Nana Kofi Babil who has been adjudged unqualified to feature in that game.
This means Medeama are considered losers in that game and will, in turn, lose three points and three goals to Olympics, pursuant to the Premier League regulations.
Medeama will, in addition, lose a further three points and are fined six thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 6000) of which one thousand will go to the Dade Boys as transportation expense.
Olympics will also receive fifty percent of the remaining amount (Ghc5000).
Babil having accumulated three yellow cards was ineligible to feature in the game against Olympics.
Both clubs have been afforded a 24hr window to lodge an appeal.
