Official: Maxwell Konadu confirmed new Asante Kotoko head coach

Former assistant coach of the Black Stars, Maxwell Konadu has been confirmed as head coach of Asante Kotoko.

The former Ghana U20 coach was linked with the job following the departure of Kjetil Zachariassen from the role as technical head of the Porcupine Warriors.

Maxwell Konadu on Monday signed a 2-year deal with an option to renew.

The 47-year-old makes a return to the club he led to triumph in the 2012 Ghana Premier league.

He was also in charge of the Black Stars B’ team that won the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) tournament in 2019.
