Former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) player, Majeed Ashimeru was in action for Red Bull Salzburg as they thump Altach 6-0 in the Austria Bundesliga.

It was another good performance for the Ghanaian despite missing a 53rd-minute penalty, after failing to beat Altach goalkeeper, Reuf Durakovic.

The national u23 playmaker has earlier provided a delightful assist for Patson Daka for Salzburg’s second goal in the 11th minute.

The Zambian forward went on to score two more to nail a hat trick for his side who remain top of the Bundesliga table with 28 points after 10 games.

It could have been a great performance for the 21-year old former WAFA and St. Gallen loanee who has scored twice so far this season in the Austria Bundesliga for RB Salzburg

Their next game will be at home against 3rd place Rapid Wien on 27th October.
