Wonder club, Great Olympics recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory over their regional rivals Legon Cities on Friday night at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The ‘Dade Boys’ led by coach Annor Walker proved yet again their readiness to compete in the Ghanaian top-flight league this season.
Former Ghana youth international Gladson Awako broke the game’s deadlock in the 44th minute to give Olympics a 1-0 lead at half time.
It took just 8 minutes after the break for the ‘Dade Boys’ to double their lead as Maxwell Quaye to struck home from the penalty spot.
The night went from bad to worse for Legon Cities as Olympics scored yet again this time in the 83rd minute to confirm all three points for the host.
This win comes as a huge boost for Olympics who go top of the Ghana Premier League table with four points after having earlier picking up a point at the Tarkwa Park.
