Legon Cities have sacked head coach Goran Barjaktarevic after just two games into the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.

A very active transfer window saw them strengthen the side with some experienced players including Baba Mahama, Nicholas Gyan, Empem Dacosta, and all-time Ghana top scorer Asamoah Gyan.

However, a slow start to their league campaign led to questions over the Serbian tactician’s ability to lead the nouveau-rich club.

According to grapevine sources, Goran has been sacked pending official confirmation by the club.

Meanwhile, games are coming in thick and fast for Legon Cities who will play Medeama next at the Accra Sports Stadium.
