Head coach of Legon Cities, Goran Barjaktarevic has expressed uncertainty over when new striker Asamoah Gyan will make his debut appearance for the side.

The all-time Ghanaian top goalscorer was the headline signing during last transfer window where he joined Cities in a record Ghanaian fee worth $250,000.

But speaking during post-match after his side lost 3-0 to Great Olympics, Barjaktarevic said he’s unsure when Gyan will be ready though he’s optimistic it shouldn’t take long.

“Very soon, very soon. I don’t know the actual date but you will see him very soon.”

“He is close to returning to the pitch.”

Asamoah Gyan has missed Legon Cities’ two opening games; drawing 1-1 against Berekum Chelsea before a humbling 3-0 defeat in the hands of Olympics last Friday.
