The 2019/20 MTN FA cup continues today as Kotoko travel to play Asokwa Deportivo at the Len Clay sports stadium.
The round of 64 clash is expected to thrill fans of both sides in a competition that has been full of thrills, excitements and occasional upsets.
Kotoko has managed just a single win in their last five games, drawing three times and losing one, scoring twice and conceding the same number in the process.
The host has won twice and lost two with the other ending in a draw. They found the net 10 times and conceded 6 goals.
Ahead of the Sunday’s game, Kotoko are boosted with the return of Mudasiru Salifu and Justice Blay. Teen sensation, Mathew Cudjoe is expected to be available for the first time since returning from Europe.
Emmanuel Osei and Asamoah Afriyie are expected to lead the Asokwa-based side as they set sights on Kotoko scalp.
The last time the two teams played each other was in the same competition as Kotoko emerge 3-2 winners in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 game in 2010/11 season.
The match will kick-off 3 PM at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
