Kofi Kodzi is optimistic of Hearts starting place despite signings made by Hearts of Oak in the recent transfer window.
Hearts led by coach Edward Odoom made five signings to strengthen the side during ahead of the possible return of the Ghana premier league.
The signings included three forwards but Kofi Kodzi remains upbeat of a starting place in the team.
“I am for the collective success of the team and will always welcome additions that will help improve the fortunes of the club going forward”, the striker is quoted by the club’s official website.
According to Kodzi, he is unperturbed by the competition as he trusts in his abilities.
“I have always believed in my own abilities and do not feel pressured in trying to fight for my place in the team. I welcome the competition and I am confident of earning a starting berth in the team when football resumes.”
Abednego Tetteh, Danjumah Kuti, and Eric Dizan are the three newly signed forwards signing by the club.
Club-returnee Nuru Sulley and Niger midfielder Mamane Lawali complete the list of five players signed by Hearts of Oak.
