Kofi Kodzi says he feels more complete as a footballer now.
The Hearts of Oak forward returned to the club after a brief spell at Asia, where he played for lower-tier Qatari side Muaither SC.
Kodzi agreed to leave the side due to the club’s dire financial situation to return to the Phobians ahead of the hearts participation in the 2021/22 Ghana football campaign and CAF Champions League.
Speaking to heartsofoaksc.com, Kofi Kodzi said he feels more complete than his last spell with the rainbow club.
“I just feel more complete. I’ve tried to master all the facets that a striker needs and I just want to keep improving on the small details all the time and keep improving on my strengths as well.”
“I just want to try to help the team win and be available for the manager as well as for my teammates. I want to make sure that they feel comfortable and they can lean on me in whatever situation we’re in.”
The forward marked his return to the Hearts of Oak with a delightful free-kick against CL Kamsar in the CAF Champions League qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.
