Jordan Ayew on Saturday became the highest-goalscoring Ghanaian in English premier league history after scoring in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth.
The forward took his season’s tally to 9 after having scored in the first half at the Vitality Stadium.
This means the Ghanaian has scored 25 premier league goals, one above former Leeds United and Ghana striker Anthony Yeboah who held the feat earlier.
Since moving to England in 2015, Jordan Ayew has featured for Aston Villa and Swansea City scoring seven and eight for either side respectively.
He joined Crystal Palace on the permanent deal at the end of last season after an initial loan spell.
Jordan Ayew has scored 10 in the process, moving him above Anthony Yeboah, Andre Ayew and Michael Essien who’s scored 24, 21 and 17 respectively.
He achieved the feat in 129 matches as compared to 47 by Tony Yeboah.
