Johnson Smith confirmed as assistant coach of Asante Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Saturday confirmed the appointment of Johnson Smith as Assistant coach of the side.

He will replace Akakpo Patron after signing a two-year deal with Porcupine Warriors who continue with preparations ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup playoff tie against San Pedro.

The decision means Johnson Smith is set for a third stint with the side after being part of the club’s technical team in 2007 before acting as a caretaker coach in 2008.

He will join from Premier league side, Karela United who have stellar following the qualification to Ghana’s Top flight league.
