Isaac Donkor was sent off in Sturm Graz 5-1 home loss to Red Bull Salzburg in the Austria Bundesliga.

The Ghanaian received his second booking following a bad tackle 71st minute from referee Harald Lechner.

Sturm Graz were 4 goals down after 21 but were compounded with more misery as Lukas Spendlhofer was sent off for a rather bizarre reaction.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian defender received his first booking with barely 5 minutes to end the first half.

RedBull Salzburg scored two more afterwards in the 43rd and 66th minute before Donkor was red-carded after a second bookable offence.

It was indeed a bad evening for Isaac Donkor and his Sturm Graz team but a good one for Majeed Ashimeru was also in action for RB Salzburg.

The former West African Football Academy (WAFA) playmaker featured for 45mins before being withdrawn for Enock Mwepu at the break.
