Former Asante Kotoko striker, Alex Asamoah has insisted that he still have more to offer football as he’s capable of lasting more minutes on the pitch.
Asamoah is back in Ghana after a short stint with Benin side UPI-ONM FC where he joined in 2019 from Techiman Eleven Wonders.
Speaking to Pure FM sports, the experienced forward maintained that something needs to be done to improve player conditions on the local scene.
He further rejected suggestions that he can not play actively due to age.
“In terms of the player’s salary, Benin is better than Ghana. My contract with UPI-ONM FC in Benin has expired so I am free to join any other club even a 3rd division club.
“I am fit to play for two hours and I don’t care what people will say about my age”
The 34-year-old striker has previously played for Brong Ahafo United, AshantiGold, and Tunisian side ES Setif, among others.
