Ahead of the week 13 of the 2019/20 Ghana premier league which continues on Friday, the Referees Appointment Committee have confirmed match officials for the weekend round of games.
Highly-rated class one referee, Rustum Senorgbe has been appointed to officiate Friday’s clash between Karela United and Asante Kotoko at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
The Ho-based referee’s last game was in charge the MTN FA Cup round of 64 tie game between Hearts of Lions and WAFA at the Kpando Park.
With Kotoko chasing their first Premier League win against Karela United, the relegation-threatened side will hope to consolidate their dominance over the Porcupine Warriors making the tie crucial.
The quality, control and decisiveness of Rustum will be tested once more on Friday noon as he’s supported by John Alexander Nyavor and Francis Bondzie Arthur on the lines.
Emmanuel Azurago Tampuri will be the 4th referee in the tie scheduled for 3 PM.
Kotoko lie 4th with 21 points while Karela United 17th with 10 points from twelve matches.
