Ghana premier league side Hearts of Oak has received a massive injury boost ahead of the matchday 9 clash against Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Kosta Papic’s team drew 1-1 with Elmina Sharks in last their last premier league outing in a game that saw several first-team regulars missing including Michel Sarpong, Mamane Lawali, Nurudeen Aziz, Kojo Obeng Jnr, among others.
However, the Phobians have seen their injury situation eased after the return of absentees to the training grounds on Wednesday.
Dependable midfield pair Nurudeen Aziz and Nigerien import Abdul Mamane Lawali both returned to training having recovered from injuries that saw them miss Hearts, Sharks game on Sunday.
Long-term Absentee, Emmanuel Nettey joined Hearts training on Wednesday afternoon but remains under strict medical supervision as he continues recovery to full fitness.
Meanwhile, Kojo Obeng Jr resumed earlier yesterday undergoing personal training with Hearts’ physical trainer.
The Phobians who lie 5th on the league table will welcome Eleven Wonders to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
