Board chairman of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV has hinted that the club will be announcing other initiatives in the near future after having struck a partnership deal with Insurance firm, StarLife.
He made the remarks during Tuesday ceremony that saw the club handed a new 47-seater Hyundai bus procured by partners, StarLife Assurance.
The ceremony also saw the launch of Phobia Assure; a comprehensive life insurance policy designed and created for the Hearts of Oak faithful.
Speaking at the event, the board chairman who is also President of the National House of Chiefs hinted that there are more deals in place for which the club will announce in due time.
“I am particularly thrilled with this new development between our club and StarLife especially so as we have a common thread to be dominant and show our pre-eminence on our field of operation”,
“Several initiatives are in the pipeline and, they would be announced as and when it’s due and, these are all aimed at building Hearts of Oak to be the dominant force in Ghana football and establish we among Africa’s preeminent clubs”, Togbe Afede said in his address.
The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State went on to add that, Hearts of Oak board and management teams are looking to make build a strong team to return the club back to its place as one of the biggest on the African continent.
“We also aim to put together a very strong technical team and playing body with good enough motivation to be the best among their contemporaries.”
Meanwhile, the new Phobia Assure package means Hearts fans can sign up to insurance policies such as Phobia Child Education Plan, Phobia Ultimate Protection Plan, Phobia WealthMaster Plan, and the Phobia HomeCall Plan.
