Heart of Lions begins DOL season against Vision FC

Kpando Heart of Lions will on Sunday begin the quest for top-flight football when they host Vision FC on the matchday one of the 2020/21 Division One League (DOL) season on Sunday.

The Kpando club has endured several mishaps in the fight for premier league football since being relegated in the 2014/15 season.

Lions’ last two attempts which saw top the zone 3 tables ahead of what could possibly be a return to the top tier of Ghana football had to be cancelled for various reasons.

However, the club will hope to keep the fight as they begin yet another campaign with a home game at the famous Kpando Park.

The two-time GHALCA Top 4 champions have strengthened their side following the exit for some key players including former Skipper Frank Akoto to Ashantigold.

Picking up all three points on opening day against Vision should be a boost for their long-awaited return to the Ghana premier league.
