Ghanaian forward Asamoah Gyan continues to exhibit his goalscoring prowess scoring four times in NorthEast United 11-1 win over Gorkha Shillong in a friendly.
The Black Stars record goalscorer registered his first goal of the game in the 15th-minute mark.
He went on to convert from the spot 6 minutes later to make it 3-1 in favor of NorthEast United.
With barely five minutes to end the first half, the former Sunderland and Udinese forward scored twice in quick succession as his side ended the half leading 6-1.
Gyan scored in the 43rd and 45th minute to put the game beyond Gorkha Shillong in the Thursday friendly match.
The 33-year old was afforded an early shower as he watched on from the bench with his team scoring five more in the second half to end the game 11-1.
Asamoah Gyan has already scored twice in the Highlanders’ four league games so far as they lie 3rd on the league table with 8 points.
