Ghana international, Asamoah Gyan was on the score sheet in the India Super League as NorthEast United drew 2-2 against Mumbai City.
The former Al-Ain and Sunderland forward scored for in the 42nd minute to draw level for the who were trailing Mumbai City 2-1 with barely five minutes to end the first half.
Despite taking an early lead, Mumbai City’s Tunisian forward attacker Amine Chermiti scored twice to give his side the lead after 32 minutes of play.
Leading the front in a 4-2-3-1 formation, Asamoah Gyan was assisted by Martin Chaves in the 42 minute to peg the game 2-2.
Both teams failed to score in the rest of the game to share spoils at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.
The results meant the Highlanders will maintain their unbeaten run in the campaign, trailing leaders ATK by a point in 4th place.
