GPL: Kotoko deepen Karela woes to go top

The Porcupine Warriors earned their first win against Karela United in the Ghana Premier League on Friday afternoon.

William Opoku Mensah’s first half second-minute strike ensured Kotoko go top of the league table at least for the next few hours ahead of the rest of the Week 13 games.

A cagey encounter at the Akoon Park produced just a single that saw Maxwell Konadu and his charges pick all points in the matchday 13 fixture.

Asante Kotoko will play Elmina Sharks next while Karela United travel to Dawu to face Dreams FC.
