Glow-Lamp secure comeback victory against Hearts in friendly

Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy on Wednesday defeated Hearts of Oak 2-1 in a friendly game in Abreshia.

The Phobians scored the game’s opener through Abubakar Traore after being assisted by Emmanuel Mintah in the first half.

Glow-Lamp soccer academy later scored the equalizing goal to end the half 1-1.

Solomon Kojo Antwi was the goal scorer for the academy side.

The second half began on a high note with both teams aiming to win the tie, but it was the host who scored took the lead.

This time it was Rashid Baba Sulley who scored what proved as the matchwinning goal for Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy.

Hearts failed to find the back of the net despite several attempts to record defeat in the first of three scheduled friendlies.

They will shift focus to their next games against Vipers and Skyy FC respectively.
