Gladson Awako is set to return to the hearts team as they step up preparations for the next caf champions league qualifier.
Hearts of oak signed the former Olympics skipper to strengthen the side for the 2021/22 caf champions league campaign.
However, the midfielder was left out of the Hearts of Oak team that played against CL Kamsar due to personal reasons as the former u20 world cup winner abandoned the team training.
Several reports suggest that the Gladson Awako is attempting to force a move from the club, although the player has rejected such suggestions.
However, the midfielder has overcome his troubles and is now set to rejoin his teammates next week.
Gladson Awako’s presence could mean a lot for the Phobians, who face an arduous task to make it to the CAF Champions League group stage with a two-legged match against Wydad AC in October.
Hearts of Oak will host the Moroccans on October 15 at the Accra sports stadium before travelling to Morocco for the second leg on October 22.
