“We players from the region and those closest to you have received great publicity from you (Eric), the support you have given us on social media to ensure we also come to the limelight is highly commendable, I am very happy for the level of publicity and so I decided to give you the jersey I wore at the U20 WAFU tournament in Benin as a sign of appreciation.”
Eric Eli Adzie who is a sports journalist with GBC’s Volta Star Radio and doubles as head of communications for the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) expressed his gratitude for the recognition from the player.
“I am highly grateful for this honour, for remembering me alone is indeed a moment of magnificence and honestly I wasn’t expecting this. I will do more to project every player from and outside the Region to get to the highest level of football through publicity and encouragement, and it’s my prayer that players get the recognition they deserve.
“I wish you well in your football career, the sky is the limit, aim higher and one day, you will get there.” He concluded.
