Just a day after the passing of Ex-Ghana international Opoku Afriyie, former Skipper of the Black Stars Kofi Owusu has been confirmed dead.
The former Ghana attacker considered as the star at the 1970 African Cup of Nations passes away in Sunyani at age 72.
Having featured for Bofoakwa Tano at club level, Kofi Owusu scored three times for Ghana at the 1970 AFCON as the Black Stars came second in the tournament losing 1-0 to Sudan in the finals.
Kofi Owusu nicknamed powerhouse is considered as one of the attacking greats in the history of Ghana football.
