He made the confirmation during the launch of this year’s domestic football season which was telecasted live via Max TV on Thursday evening.
Speaking during the launch, the president of the GFA revealed that the eventual winner of the Ghana premier league will take home GHS 250,000 together with 40 gold medals for the players and match officials.
They will also receive a GHS 10,000 shopping voucher from new partners Melcom.
Accordingly, second and third-placed teams at the end of the season will also receive GHS 150,000 and GHS 80,000 respectively, together with medals and shopping vouchers from Melcom.
Following the official launch, the Ghana premier league will now commence November 13, 2020, across the various match venues in the country.
