The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced an approved list of referees to officiate premier league games for the upcoming 2020/21 football season.
The 40-man refereeing list contains experienced and highly respected Ghanaian referees including Daniel Laryea, Charles Bulu, Benjamin Kwame Sefa, and Rustum Gameli Senorgbe.
Also attached to the list are 10 referees and 10 assistant referees who will take charge of Division One League (DOL) games and likewise serve as support referees for the premier league.
A support referee will take charge of if a premier league referee drops from the approved 40-man list due to performance, medical, ethical, and disciplinary issues.
Meanwhile, the premier league referees will undergo an integrity course at Ghanaian Soccer Centre for Excellence at Pampram from 6th to 8th November 2020.
These are all preparations ahead of the new football season scheduled to commence on 13th November 2020.
