Former Asante Kotoko head coach, Zdravko Logarusic has been appointed head coach of the Zimbabwe National team head coach.
The 54-year-old Croatian takes over the Zimbabwean top job after leading Sudan to a third-place finish in the 2018 African Nations Championship.
He has signed a two-year deal with the Zimbabwe Football Association and will lead to them in the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The Croatian will be making a return to Ghana with his side being paired against West Africa country alongside Ethiopia and South Africa in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
He is no stranger to the African terrain having coached a host of clubs including AshantiGold, King Faisal, Gor Mahia in Kenya as well Tanzania’s AFC leopards, among others.
