According to kickgh.com, Evans Owusu has left newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Goldstars after only a week at the club.

The former Kotoko defender was a transfer deadline day signing from Liberty Professional but has left the club over reported signing-on fee disagreement.

Evans Owusu was a regular for Liberty last season, playing 18 times and scoring twice, although the club suffered relegation to Division One League.

The 24-year old joined Goldstars after several links to other Ghana premier league clubs.

He was part of four other players who dragged Kotoko to the player status committee for non-payment of the transfer fee which was ruled in his favour.
