Ghanaian boxer, Duke Micah suffers his first professional career defeat after being knocked by Filipino John Reil Casimero on Sunday dawn.

The 29-year-old was making his first world title bid but had his dream short-lived after being knocked out after just three rounds.

Micah began the bout a good footing with some nice jabs but seem to wane off as the bout progress.

Nicknamed Babyface terminator, Duke Micah was sent to the canvas midway through the second round though managed to hold on to progress that round.

He was passed fit by ringside doctors to continue the fight only to be knocked out by Casimero who maintains his quest to fight Japan’s Naoye Inoue for a pay-per-view shot.

The results will come as a disappointment to Ghanaians who were hoping for a world title back home following earlier loses by Isaac Dogboe and Richard Commey in their bid to maintain their respective titles.
