Chairman of Volta Regional Football Association Daniel Agbogah has reiterated plans by the association to develop the sport in the region.
The Dynamo FC boss called for stakeholder support as it seeks to build and promote football in the Volta and Oti region.
Daniel Agbogah spoke on the association’s targets after paying a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. Yao Archibald Letsa.
He maintained their quest to create a model worth emulating by Ghana football.
“The idea is that we reposition our football in the Volta Region. I think with belief and being serious with our plans of this nature, well, we may become a football model in Ghana.”
He further called for support as the association seeks to secure a permanent secretariat as well as office space for its functional districts.
Daniel Agbogah replaced Francis Dogbatse as head of the Volta Football during last year’s congress following majority delegate approval via acclamation.
