Ghana and Ajax midfielder, Mohammed Kudus is set for a lengthy period on the sidelines after picking a knock in his side’s 1-0 loss to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
The 20-year-old was replaced by Quincy Promes just 6 minutes on the clock after twisting his right leg following an entanglement with Fabinho.
Ajax confirmed via it’s official Twitter handle on Thursday afternoon.
“Come back stronger, Mo! ♥️
“Mohammed Kudus has suffered a meniscus injury that will keep him sidelined for several months,” the post read.
Mohammed Kudus has been sensational for Ajax since joining for Nordsjaelland this summer.
He recorded his first Eredivisie goal for the Amsterdam side against Heerenveen last Sunday.
