Ahead of Ghana’s double-header against Sudan in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, Charles Akonnor on Tuesday named his Black Stars squad for the upcoming games.
Included in the list was four local-based players; Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Atta, Aduana Stars talisman forward Yahaya Mohammad, Kwadwo Amoako of Ashantigold, and Asante Kotoko defender Habib Mohammed.
There was also debut call-ups for Tarique Fosu, Eugene Ansah and three local-based players; Richard Atta, Yahaya Mohammed, and Kwadwo Amoako.
The Black Stars will host Sudan at the Cape Coast Stadium on 27th March before travelling to play the reverse fixture on 30th March.
