After an entertaining 3-2 defeat in Nigeria, Asante Kotoko will aim to continue to their good form at home when the play Kano Pillars in the second leg of the CAF Champions League first round qualifier.

The Porcupine Warriors have a two away-goal advantage and are unbeaten in the last five home games in Africa competition.

With second round qualification at stake, both teams have everything to play for on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Pillars will attempt to better their feat in 2009 where they reached the semifinals of the competition.

Having failed to go past the first round after numerous attempts, Kotoko’s inability to keep a cleansheet in recent times will prove a huge motivation for the Nigerian side.

In some team news, Augustine Okrah remains out for the host as Pillars will miss the services of David Ebuka, Sunday Chinedu Adamu Hassan and Ali Malam, all due to paper work.

The home side are yet to reach the group stage of the CAF top-tier competition since 2006.
