The Porcupine Warriors following their elimination from the CAF Champions League will hope to reach the group stage of the CAF second elite club competition but will have to do at the expense of the Ivorians.
Their opponent, San Pedro is a relatively young club on the continent having been formed in 2004 but has seen tremendous growth in recent times.
They are currently third in the Ivorian league with two wins and loss in three games so far.
The Orange and Blacks held their mandatory training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The host will be without import, George Abege due to injury but that means Sogne Yacouba looks likely to start for Kotoko after bagging a hat-trick against BYFA in a friendly.
San Pedro will be without key duo, Nguessan Privat (groin injury) and Wayou Constant.
With Kotoko’s impressive showing at home in the CAF club competitions, Sunday’s game will be a difficult task for the visitors.
The match will kick-off at 3PM and will be live on the Kotoko Express.
