Former president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has seen his ban reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
The former first vice-president of
Confederation of African Football was handed a lifetime ban after being captured in the rather controversial documentary piece dubbed ‘Number 12’.
Consequently, he lost his position as FA head as well as other positions at CAF and FIFA level.
But Kumasi-based Nhyira FM is reporting that the ban has been reduced to a period of twelve years following an appeal by the experienced football administrator.
